Food: First 2013 dinner, @ MEDZS.

A dining concept somewhat similar to Marche Restaurant. It’s a Food Junction creation, uses a card system which records your orders and payment is done after meal.

Unlike Marche, which does all kind of western cuisines, MEDZS focus on Mediterranean style cuisine, e.g popular food dishes from Italy, Spain, Europe and etc.

And these were our orders for the night (excluding our friends’, didn’t get a shot of theirs):

Pretty decent in taste and presentation. I do find the Rosti a tad small and oily but the beef rump was okay, not too tough (bf say it’s too ex for its size, around 26sgd).

Their desserts were better and yummy, nothing to pick on.

I didn’t try any beer but did checked out their beer menu. A little steep on beer pricing but I’m pretty sure the beer drinkers can find a beer that would interest their taste buds.

And it wasn’t too expensive for our 5 orders, 2 main + 1 soup + 2 desserts (total bill was around 60sgd).

It wasn’t great food but at least it served its purpose for a nice dinner gathering. And we managed something sweet and nice, to end the meal. I would say, the experience is probably a 6.5/10, for me.

Though there weren’t many diners tonight, do make reservations if you intend to have a group gathering there.
